Definitely search around for them. I found them for $4.00 a pair.

I got 4 pairs for $4 each in BURLINGTON Vermont. They were a box in the hardwood isle. Total pain to open the packaging and a decent bit not great tape measure. The glow in the dark aspect is strange, and I wouldn’t say they are awesome, but nice to have similar tapes at each major tool in my shop.

That is the recurring theme of this entire thread.
The adventurous will check the stock and the price at other reasonably local stores to see if that item is clearanced at another location. Sometimes it’s worth a drive. It’s sort of a game, a little Sherlocking sometimes pays off well!

Buy a Honda, you won't regret it... But buy it from a real dealer not Lowe's. Price difference is minimal and the service from a real dealer is a big difference especially for items bought from them.

This late in the season I don’t consider that a great deal. It will likely fall dramatically in a few weeks, but hey, if you’re cold and you need it right now, it’s a great deal!

Just got home from Lowe’s in Marana, Az, where I picked up a two burner Weber Natural gas Spirit II grill. Regularly $399.99, clearance for $104.99. Less than $100 when I used my Lowe’s card.

It will do fine for a seasonal house.

(from SD) For anyone interested in Kobalt 24v tools: Lowe's has a mostly unadvertised sale that only works in-store.

If you buy the #1500190 battery set (2Ah+4Ah+charger) you get a Kobalt 24v tool free. It works for most of the 24v tools that are $129 or less.

I wanted the small 1/2" impact (200 ft-lb) and spare batteries for my 6-tool set, so this worked out well.

Again, in-store only unless you happen to want the circular saw, which gets added automatically on lowes.com with the battery kit. None of the stores around me had any signs up about the sale, but the sale rings up correctly at the register.

The prices on the receipt are not adjusted by % to enable only one item to be returned. Battery kit shows full price, tool shows 0. So this week a bunch of battery kits showed up for sale on eBay.

Very few Lowes had these in stock. I had been watching this one store for a few months. When the price dropped to 649.00 2 weeks ago, I bought one.
They were hidden under a tarp in what they call the "Bull Pen" To my surprise, there were 2. My son saw mine and wanted one. I went back this past Saturday and the price dropped to 349.00. I was also able to get a 150.00 price adjustment on the first one. So, yeah it was my lucky day!
