I could resist yesterday, but not today - free shipping & no tax. I just had to pull the trigger

I’m resisting now, but will probably be in the same boat as you tomorrow.

Check out thicc boog line if you need “standard” capacity mags, as they ship to all 50 states. Temporarily out of stock, but they’re coming back. Fortunately we don’t have these ridiculous laws in my state. https://www.thiccboogline.com/shop

Mags aren't the issue.
Threaded barrel is.

Well aware that could be changed but then the price point isn't as great.
And most of time the retailer will refuse to ship to certain states even though the FFL will have to make it compliant before completing the transfer. Its just easier for them.

I have to get items shipped to friends outside of the state that are totally legal for me to purchase just because the retailer wants cover their ***.
I understand it is just a hassle.

That said smoking deal! I'm super jealous.

I resisted all week after I saw the ad, but broke down when I found out you can split up payments. I had a couple of gift cards and was able to use them to make it a no brainer! I was trying not to buy it as Im still waiting on my Sig X5 to come in!

Looking forward to picking mine up from FFL either tomorrow or Saturday

Mine was supposed to be delivered today to my FFL but according to the tracking, it has been delayed account improper sorting... Grrr. Hopefully tomorrow depending on how far it got away from St Louis.

Finally got around to picking mine up today... Its the first FN I have owned, but just based off cosmetics and ergonomics alone I’m impressed. I’ll get a range report next weekend.

Now I need to decide on a optic, RMR or take a swing with the New Holoson micro dots and lets not forget about getting the ball rolling on a Silencer..

I picked mine up on Friday, my first FN as well. I put a few hundred rounds through it yesterday and I have to say I really like it. I was running cheap Federal target rounds and the first mag failed to cycle about half the rounds. I changed to the other spring set included and never had another issue.

I picked up one of these Vortex Venom optics and so far I'm a fan. This deal from Focal is good, and mine was delivered in three days.

Have you thought about a holster? I generally go with crossbreed or tulster for smaller guns but it appears limited in the 509 Tactical sector, especially of your thinking about a Optics cut.

I did find Muddy river tactical Here that covers IWB and OWB.

I haven't. I carry a P365 and don't really plan to carry this one. I wouldn't mind an OWB holster for around my property though. My main plans were just target fun and adding a form 1 suppressor.

Same here, P365 in tulster. I’m leaning towards a OWB from MRT for the same reason.

HAHA great minds must think alike! I also carry a p365 in a tulster! My 509 should show up today with my sig x5 but I cant pick them up until Wed. Dang work! :(

I already have a 9mm suppressor I use on my vp9 so I curious how the 509 will be?

Picked up mine on Saturday, disassembled it, lubed it up. Looks well built and feels good in the hand. There is an open rebate for free light https://rapid-rebates.com/FN206083

I'll take it out and get a feel for it, I might invest in a Triicon RMR, I have a number of Triicon red dots for rifles. Trijicon is a good Michigan company made by Americans so I don't mind sharing my $ with them

Thanks again for posting Hiball !

That's what I was thinking, hah. Still not a bad deal at less than $800 with the free light. I have so many though.

I like it about $500 worth. If I really loved the red dot on a pistol I would have liked this $655 worth. My semi auto pistol collection is mostly Glocks with the occasional CZ, some Kahr, and a single FNX 45 Tactical.

I have only fondled one but it didn't seem like a $900 gun. I like the RMR on my G19 but only for the range. I would need a larger dot and a ton of range time before I was comfortable carrying one.

Finally had a chance to pick mine up. I think the Sig is a little nicer but a good deal on the FN! 24rd mag is huge! The Sig is a 21rd and much smaller.
