Greetings all,
First post to this forum

First off, I want to thank you all for your knowledge/contributions as I have learned a lot

After a lot of research including this forum, I pulled the trigger and am picking up a new Direct Lift Pro Park 9 Plus this Friday.

I am located on the Massachusetts / New Hampshire border and Direct Lift pointed me to a local dealer. So far so good on the order process

The dealer tells me that according to his installers the newest models have the capability to have the power unit located on any of the post. I called Direct Lift and they tell me that is not the case. I called the dealer again and he confirmed with his installer that is in fact the case?

Has anyone recently purchase a Pro Park 9 Plus to confirm that is in fact a possibility. As most of you know, it is either the front drivers post or the rear passenger post.

I am hoping for passenger front post given my setup and was wondering how they handled the cable routing and hydraulics for this feature

Thanks for listening

I purchased my ProPark 9 a few years ago. The control unit on mine could be either the driver side front or passenger side rear. I suppose if the hydraulic hose is long enough and routed securely it could be mounted elsewhere.

thanks for the feedback.
I figured it was possible as well and was hoping for confirmation as I would prefer to have front passenger post given my setup. Not a deal breaker and I am looking so forward to having it.
How do you like the Pro Park 9? any issues?
Did you install yourself and if so how did that go?
Appears to be fairly straight forward assembly and I just could not justify the $1,000 installation costs.

I like it a lot! I installed it myself but I had helped a friend install their lift (different brand) so I think that helped a little. I used my engine hoist to lift/move the heavy parts.

I had one issue during assembly. The lock release rod was too long by an inch or two. I puzzled over this for some time until I finally convinced myself it was too long. I then cut it to the correct length and drilled a new hole for a cross bolt.

A few months after I began using it the hydraulic hose leaked. I contacted Direct Lift and they shipped me a new hose. I had already replaced it with a hose I bought locally (Northern Tool) so the replacement is still in a box in case I should ever need it.

I installed my propark 9 over the weekend. I mounted my motor on the passenger front side. The company I bought it from said that the second hole for the hydraulic line use to not be there, but it is something new to them. Fit perfectly. Also installed the 90 degree bracket to put the motor on the side of the post instead of the back. The price just went up before I purchased it. *****.

Unfortunately I read it after I completed my install this past weekend
Did not put the motor where I originally wanted it but it works out okay anyway
Once I was done I saw the other hole and realized all I had to do was reroute the hydraulic line to the second hole and put the proper post to that passenger front

The other thing I noticed is the lift does not have a gold ALI sticker on it
Does yours?
Nice photos - great garage
