Does the kit (wrench, charger, battery) have one model number or you have to use serial/model number for each one of the components to able to use LSA?

You'll need to use the serial numbers off each of the components to be covered for the LSA. When registering, the site will ask you the R number off the box, as well as each components serial number, as well as requiring you to upload a home depot receipt as a pdf or photo. This all must be done within 90 days of purchase. I usually check back after about 2 weeks to make sure my LSA is approved. I also make a back photo copy of the home depot receipt as the thermal paper its printed on fades out over time.

You have to register each tool, charger, and battery. Only batteries that come with the combo kit qualify for LSA. As long as you enter the serial numbers in correctly it shouldn't be a problem. If you have any questions, get the guy at your local home depot tool department to walk you through the process.

Definitely check back in a few weeks on the approval. I called and the lady put in the approval right then. It can be a pain, but they do replace the stuff
