There don't seem to be a lot of old battery collectors. I have a pair of EverReady dry cell batteries from the 1930s. Someone had hooked them up to a light fixture in their garage or stable. I thought they were cool. But when I listed them on Ebay, nobody was interested.

I have a vintage general store in my garage and in it is a vintage battery display with several old batteries of all kinds so I guess that you could say that I collect old batteries

That's awesome  , so you might want to jump on this and add it to the collection.

Don, I may be way off here, but I went on an american pickers watching marathon a year or 2 ago...were you in one of their episodes? Seems like I remember one that had someone building a setup similar to some of your pictures you've posted. Very cool store front by the way, I kinda have a dream of turning a one stall extra garage into an old sears/craftsman storefront and hardware store!
Not to ignore the original post on this, I have come across some old batteries in vintage flashlights too, I'll try and find where I put them and post a few.

I never made an effort to collect old batteries, but when I come across them I can't throw them away.

Thanks Damon
But no it's a little too rough for a store display
