Congratulations on the sale. And condolences. It's up to the new guys to make it work for them, and it will probably be hard for you to let go and do it their way, but here it comes! Great for the employees!

I'm looking forward to the spectacular place you build in Blairsville, and you'll have more time to dedicate until your next hobby takes over. Glad you're enjoying the ride.:bowdown:

Tomorrow I will bid farewell to GodSpeed Rides. They will lease the building from me and i will for a period of time keep an office there to be of service to these guys.

Another classy move. Seems to happen a lot with you.

Cheers!

Oh! Time flies too.

welcome to blairsville you cought one of the better snows we have had in past few years

A funny think happened on our way to Blairsville this past weekend. We ended up getting hit by a snow storm. We were driving through downtown Atlanta and it was coming down. Its been 20 years since I have seen snow. My wife was pretty scared but I was having a blast. Here is a picture in my mother in laws driveway.

While I was up there I ended up buying some property at a subdivision called Thirteen Hundred. It is a pretty cool place. Here is a picture from the center of the lot. I have an idea for a new garage build. Its only going to be maybe 2 car but it will extend off the side of the mountain. I want to have roll up doors on each corner so you can raise them and enjoy the view while working on a car.:D

I can honestly say it was a pleasure to come spend a few of my days off at your shop early on Mark. Scraping insulation, installing a lift with Todd, it was a great time. Best of all, I get to say I was a small part of your success.

You’re one of the hardest working guys I’ve met. Your vision, determination, and work ethic is amazing. The cars you’ve built have been unreal. Quite a legacy.

Only great things lie on the (off)road ahead for you!!!

Drums? Now I’m interested. What kinda kit do you have? Are you doing any sound proofing?

For over 40 years I played Lugwig. Around 4 years ago I switched to DW. I have one DW kit at church and 1 kit here at my home. I play drums at our church and jam with a rock bad once a week. I will get some pictures of the drums soon once I get my photobucket issue figured out. I have quite a bit of acoustical panels and will be installing them once I have the room done.

Welcome back Mark! You're an inspiration to us all. Ok, I'm really speaking for myself here. My wife and I are getting into the property investment game in part thanks to you and your family's legacy. Our kids (teenagers) will live a better life than us (mid 40s) but at least we're starting now.

Again, welcome back.

David

David, congratulations! So awesome for you and your family. I can identify with the next generation living better. Our family had been farmers in the old days and by my father getting into real estate in the early 70's it was a game changer. Unfortunately I lost my father as he was only 63 when he passed away and I wish he was here today to see what happened to the value of some properties after 40 years.

Oh yeah, made my day, looking forward to the updates.

JB

Thank you:)

Good to hear from your Mark.

good to be back:bounce:
