You guys keep doing what you're doing because, you consistently release new tools without any issues. I would like to see vapor blasted tips on the flat tips but, that's just me. I would also like to see a 90 tooth 3/8 drive flex head ratchet with a straight handle and an overall length of 12-13 inches along with a 1/2 drive version in the 17-18 inch overall length.
You had a pretty impressive SEMA booth this year. I don't think i've ever seen so many chrome sockets in one place.

One more thing, how about making a 1/4 magnetic bit holder with a 4 inch blade attached to one of those new hard handles?

I just got the hard handle set that I ordered Thursday and they do look good. Fedwrench, looking at the flat tips in person up close,it appears that they were vapor blasted before chroming. You can see a slight variation in the chrome the size of the area that you would expect to be blasted. Maybe Dave R can offer some additional insight. I too have a flex head request but mine is to add some locking flexheads.

I bought a set of chrome and black and they feel and work great and would advise anybody to buy them

been using them the past few months at work...so far, so good

How often do you use them and how nice would you say the tips are? I’m thinking about these or a set of Klein for my travel tool box. The drivers I have are trashed. I have the Williams (Old Snap On handles) and SK comfort grip and they are both nice. I like these because the handles will stand out vs blend in. I think they will be easier to spot and not loose. Thanks!

I need more screwdrivers like I need another marriage. But curiosity prevails. I ordered a 6 in 1 and covered their range in Torx by getting an additional bit. Most that read these forums know I like Tekton.

I don't think I have ever tried Tekton screwdrivers. Has anyone seen them for sale at a hardware store?

They're on the shelves at Meijer stores, but these stores are only in the midwest: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Wisconsin. So I guess you're SOL in VA.

Meijer is a regional chain of large 24/7 grocery/everything stores, sort of like a Super Walmart that doesn't stink like diapers and feet.

Order a few examples from Tekton.com if you're not sure. They sell smaller sets and individuals, and if you sign up on the website you get free shipping. Shipping may be disrupted in the next several weeks, of course.

Really like them, the handle fits great in my hand. Hard to beat for the price imo.

Just got a set of the black oxide, hard-handled variety to add to a car tool kit for my wife. In the garage I use the soft handled versions, and I gotta say Tekton did an excellent job on these screwdrivers. So far they've been more durable than any of my Craftsman USA screwdrivers. They bite better and have not worn nearly as quickly.

Whatever you do, stay away from that black oxide set - it might have already rusted by the time you receive the package.

Why do you say that? Is it a known problem? I kinda like that finish for what I would want them for.

One of the best features for me is that the 16 piece set is equal numbers of flat and Phillips. No idea why so many 8 piece sets will have 5 or 6 flat and only 2 or 3 Phillips.

About the last thing I needed was more screwdrivers but I ordered a couple just to try them for myself. I ordered the black oxide and, for the record, no rust. They're pretty nice screwdrivers in my opinion. Domestic tools.

Pliers too? I knew about the punches and I have several but not their pliers. Do you know which pliers? Also, any idea where the locking pliers are made?
