I am running out of space storing socket extensions. I have them flat in the drawer fit together like puzzle pieces so I am pretty maxed out storage wise. I was thinking about getting a magnetic panel and sticking some new extensions on the metal sides of the drawer. Has anybody tried this?

wall mount flashlight bracket, if you can find one small enough.

I prefer to not use magnets if I don't have to. As they tend to collect metal shavings.

I found some open top boxes at the dollar store...about 2"x12"x1 1/2" deep. Doesn't make for a "show" drawer but is handy, you can get a bunch of extensions in it, worst case it takes 2-3 seconds to find extension you need.

The GJ solution is to buy a bigger toolbox :lol_hitti

I have a drawer for each drive size (ratchets, extensions, swivels) instead of a dedicated drawer for extensions.

Just pile it all in there! :lol_hitti

I used 2 freebie magnet bars bolted together back to back on the open lid of my HF tool cart it works GREAT for extensions, ratchets and more

Same here I think the ones I bought are Rubbermaid. They have been working great a for a few years and a few bucks.IMG_0303.jpg

I am also using the Rubbermaid drawer organizers that were originally intended for kitchen utensils.

I always wanted to find an extension holder that was like a drill holder. Open up and the extensions stand up in different rows for each drive.
