no prep garage paint, latex acrylic?

I bought a 25yo house that has a 2 car garage with lots of oil stains, some chips & cracks.

I would like to make the floor look nicer, but don't want to spend alot of money or time.

I think that leaves me with latex acrylic paint? Or leaving it as is?

Any recommendations for specific paints?
Ideally I'd like to simply sweep/vacuum and then paint. As long as it lasts a year+, I don't mind touching up in future.

Nothing is going to stick to concrete that is oil stained when you just do a sweep and paint. Unless you are willing to put some effort into properly cleaning the concrete and the oil stains, you might as well leave it as is.

Shea is right.
It’s a really bad idea to do what you are suggesting.
Even if you are willing to touch it up every month you’ll still have large areas of poorly adhered paint that constantly peel up. It will look worse than your bare oil stained floor. When you finally get sick of it all, you’ll have to empty your garage and strip off all of that paint down to bare concrete.

Nightmare! Don’t do it!
