The past few months I’ve been in the market for a new 3/4 ratchet and a longer 1/4 ratchet. I work at a Deere dealer on ag equipment so I looked at snap on but the two combined from the dealer were just shy of $450. Then I looked at brands like Williams, Wright, and Gearwrench for a longer 3/4, I don’t see how GW can even justify getting $150 out of there ratchet when both Williams and Wright are under $200.
On the 1/4 end I was looking at the 120xp and found the individual ratchets to be descently priced but just looking around it seems all there stuffs went up in the past year. I bought a $30 ratcheting wrench st last winter and it was missing the 18mm. The individual was $25 on Amazon. That’s almost as much as the entire set.
Might point being did Amazon raise there prices or GW across the board, what have you guys seen?
