Help with tag on Tamper electric motor

I picked up some motors tonight . One is a motor made by Tamper of Montreal, Canada. Other then standard info tag, there is a second tag on the body of the motor saying "H.E.P.C. STOCK NO." and "P56-01-22-02-308-OO10".
I cant find anything on google and was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

That's the power generation utility that later became known as Ontario Hydro (in the 1970s?).
Ontario Hydro itself was broken up into several different companies a few years ago.

(I come by this knowledge by cheating - I grew up in Ontario, and not the Ontario that's in California.)
