My neighbor set out a similar set by the curb. Complete, never used. I put it in a garage sale twice in Spring and fall. I couldn't get any interest at $50. Not even a look.

Tell you something funny, but since I can not go out looking for tools because of covid-19, I have been watching youtube (What I find at flea sales) and this one guy with a name of rusty something goes out and buys rusty tools for a buck or two and cleans then up real nice. Anyhow short story he had this link to his ebay sales and my jaw hit the ground because he was asking close to new retail for all those old cleaned up rusty tools... I wonder if he even sells any of them at his inflated prices ?

I would think a pin wrench would get the job done.
Quite common nut in manual transmissions, groove nut or axial nut are often used terms. Expensive if you buy a socket from a high dollar tool source. They are not hard to make if you have a lathe to turn a piece of pipe or tube to the correct size then insert 4 dowels from the side to engage the slots in the nut. People make there own by welding 4 pieces of square key stock to the out side of an old socket. Of course there is always the hammer and punch method previously mentioned.
