Am I correct that with 1/2 in EMT I can have nine 12ga wires? I will only have six unless I use the conduit for ground.

That table is shifted a size from US practice. Either things are very different in Canada, or there's a misprint.

I see one difference at least. My table is RW and others liked to are T90. That would account for the significant difference.

If you want to pull an EGC, you only need one #12. Split it off wherever.

Yes I am going to pull an EGC. I thought about just using my conduit as the ground. But I would much prefer to have a separate ground wire also.
