I am looking at having a wet area in my new shop build and wonder if any one has used Trusscore or something similar for wall covering.

Also was thinking of doing metal in the main workshop, but wondering is something other than metal on plywood would be better.

Any and all advice welcome.

Not to hijack this thread, but I actually came here to ask a similar question. My current (attached) garage has pegboard walls except for the one that is shared with the rest of the home.

Originally, I was looking at doing greenboard for the first 4' of the walls and drywall for the rest. I don't plan on doing much washing in the garage (no drain), but will be using it for paint correction and the like.

My dad mentioned FRP and it seems like it may be a good alternative. I'm curious to hear the possible downsides. It is a little more expensive than drywall from a materials standpoint, but the difference isn't much when you factor in tape/mud/sanding/paint.
