Old Products and What Happened to Them?

I was just looking around for some metal polish, specifically something I used in my younger years called "Brasso". It prompted me to remember some of the oldy but goody stuff we used to have that seems to have dissappeared from popular use today.

Anybody still use Brasso or here's a better one - remember "Brylcreem" (since 1928)?? A little dab 'l do ya!!

When I was a kid, flat-top haircuts were the rage. To be properly styled, you left a bit of "bangs" in the front, and then used this stuff to allow the bangs to be stood straight up.

Mom would set me on the right path every morning - and I hated it! Once I'd turned the corner headed for school, a quick swipe of the hand would "undo the do"...

Haven't bought a can in a couple of years but used to get Brasso at the grocery store. On the shelf with the cleaning supplies.
