This past weekend was a good time to finally apply my epoxy coating from Legacy Industrial. It's medium grey color with fine grit and came out great, with the perfect amount of slip resistance yet still easy to sweep. I spent a day grinding and cleaning with the floor polisher and diamabrush from Home Depot. I ground it dry, then vacuumed with the shop vac and dust deputy (which worked great). There was still a thin film of dust left after so I wiped the floor down by hand with microfiber towels and denatured alcohol.
The application was very easy. With the 900 sq ft kit it was divided into 3 batches to mix and I just used my control joints in the floor to meter out each batch since they split my floor into 3 sections. It's important to mix well especially if your using grits mixed in. There are extra tools included in the kit so I now have 2 spare roller frames and a spare mixing paddle.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the product and I can tell it will be extremely durable for shop floor use.
