anybody know that how many lifts they sell annually? And, how many are "Produced" by their facilities in US?

If you know more major brands, please just list here.

Market share is the % of the market that they service. If rotary sells 1/2 of all the lifts made, they have a 50% market share.

That's what I mean. Thank you.
Rotary is said to have the biggest share of the market, but nobody knows how many lifts they sell in North America annually, this is not reported in Dover's FORM10K.

Johnbean under Snap-on which produced in Canada was decreased sharply. I was told their Canada factory has about 60 staffs now, but 150 last year, and 300 2 years ago.

There are different market segments and each lift company's performance varies per segment (car dealers, independents, hobbyists, municipalities). The lift companies are very competitive and will not disclose the information you are seeking as it could be used in marketing both for and against them. If I were to guess, based upon my own personal experience, I would breakdown the marketshare for each segment as follows (This is base upon my west coast business experience and may be different on the east coast).

Car dealers - 1-Rotary, 2-Challenger (only two brands sold in OEM programs)

Independents - 1-Rotary, 2-BendPak, 3-Challenger

Hobbyists - 1-BendPak, 2-Rotary

Municipalities - 1-Rotary, 2-Mohawk

Dave, thank you to share your thoughts.

But I believe based on their business scale, there could be an estimation on how many lift they probably selling annually, for example,
Rotary--They have production in US and China. Their China plant produce around 10K lifts a year.
Challenger- They OEM from China around 3K from ONE company annually. If we know of thier other sources, we would be able to make the estimation.
Bendpak-- Their report said they have production in NA, but I saw their senior managers are all in travells abroad frequently. If we know how many are sourced abroad, and how many produced in NA, we then know the number.
Snapon--their employees in Canada plant decreased from 300 to 60 in 2 years, we could estimate it also.

Again, I'm trying to ESTIMATE instead of get an accurate number.

Sorry, I can't disclose sales figures. Keep in mind when you are looking at Rotary and Challengers production numbers from China that this is only for the import lines, Revolution (Rotary) and Quality (Challenger), and excludes the USA made lifts which make up the majority of the two companies lift sales.
