Paint sprayer recommendation

[APG12]

Anyone have a paint sprayer recommendation for painting a relatively large house? Not looking to totally break the bank but don’t want junk either.

Graco X5 or X7 should get it done I'd think. Check on the thickness of your preferred paint and make sure it can pump it.

I used an X7 to spray my cabinets but never owned one. They're pretty damn slick and the price seems affordable for what it will save you.

I've been pretty happy with my harbor freight airless sprayer. I've sprayed 3 houses worth of paint through it (probably 60 gallons) and it has done the job every time. For $180 I would buy it again.

Interesting, this one? Seems to be about like the X5? I'm going to need one in a bit.

I had looked at that also as I heard good things about it. I think I remember reading that one of the big differences was cleanup and the Graco was much easier. Other than that I’m not really sure.

IMHO, One of the tools may be built to a quality and other built to a price.

I bought the Titan 1500 from Lowe’s. So far I have only used it for spraying about 3 pails of Kilz oil primer. Worked fine. I’m under standing that these sprayers are more or less a consumable item so didn’t see much sense in buying a larger unit. Only Graco I could find were in paint stores and price was a major part of my decision.

My wife surprised me with a Graco magnum X5 for Father’s Day. Looking forward to seeing what it can do.

Have the X5, not a bad sprayer. Long enough hose, decent spray body, optional multiple size tips, lays on a lot of paint. Complete clean up....hose, gun, tip and hose flush to look like new, 30 minutes (latex). Not a professional system going for $2000. but very good for around $300.

X2 on the harbor freight sprayer. I’m about 20 gallons of paint through mine with no issues. Use good paint store paint, that makes up a big part of the finished product.

I have the X5 and my buddy bought the HF version. We painted his garage and used both (big two story garage with apartment up top). I couldn't tell the difference....

I have a Wagner Flexio 2000 HVLP electric corded sprayer that I used to paint the inside of our garage & the inside & outside of our shed, it worked very well. The only annoying part is that it does not come with an option to paint from the can, when the cup gets low it starts sucking air & you have to re-fill the cup.

As an update to this, still happy with my HF sprayer, I haven't done much spraying but a friend did spray his entire interior with it. Looks like they no longer make the one I have and the replacement is $250 and not as compact. If it comes up again, next summer we are doing a color change on all of our outbuildings so I will likely be pushing 30+ gallons through it and i'll update.
