International Harvester Oiler Score!

OK, I'm not really into tractors like my GFs brother-in-law but I smelled a good deal here. I bought this oiler at the flea today for $3.
Check out this ebay link! There are 3 listed in the $74-89 range!

Couldn't agree more. And I certainly wouldn't but it's got to be worth a lot more than $3.

I believe you are quite right there. IH is very collectible. I have a guy who has bought any IH tool I come across, small wrenches and sockets for $5 a piece. I wouldn't hesitate to ask $30 and believe I would get it eaisly. If i buy something right, I don't have to get top dollar for it, just a nice profit for the time spent.

Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome little can, and i would've jumped on that deal too. But you're better off keeping it as something cool and unusual, than trying to sell it.

Great find!! The $70 to $100 range for them in nice shape is pretty realistic for an asking price.

Those oiler's in IH circles are only worth about $5 to $10. If you had a NOS one in perfect condition it might fetch up to $30. If you go to tractor shows they are all over the place for less than $10. It is still a nice item though.
