Although not necessarily a new arrival, it's freshly installed:

Very impressive there 48548! My tool drawers look very similar to yours with lots of stacking and no spare room - just about 1/3 the size of your collection though...

Anyways, thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
Tim

Bought a 12 mm deep Allen power socket just to use as an anvil when disassembling the rear shock on a fully sussy MTB. Don't think I'll ever use it again. Feels solid though, guess I could use it as a giant mandrel.a86ea99e6b3faee050c82b3402e09540.jpg

Nothing expensive, I broke my rarely-used Craftsman pop rivetool, that was #2 that broke. I went to Sears to reclaim my lifetime warranty replacement, "sorry we don't carry a replacement any-more." They gave me points on my SYW account. I bought the Craftsman combo wrenches, 20-24 MM to use up my points before Sears folds completly.

Still needed a pop rivetool, I went online and bought an Arrow pneumatic riveter, and at Home Depot, I bought an Arrow pop rivetool kit, manual operation, it appears to-be very similar to my newer broken Craftsman.

Love them. Nice fit and finish, and I love the clear markings with color.

Used them today while replacing the shift linkage on the Harley. Easy to seat and worked well. These with my Klein t-handles should have me set for awhile.

Was also cool that KC Tools gave me a free phillips bit. A nice touch for an online order.

I got this M18 drill and impact driver kit for Father's Day from my son & his wife and my daughter & her fiance. My M12s had just about all crapped out on me after years of great service.

It's been quite a while since I checked in here. Picked up a set of Snap-on hard handle 100th anniversary screwdrivers today.

Dissatisfied with the ratcheting band type compressor, going to give this one a try.

Found this machined steel knob at www.swagoffroad.com. You just punch out the rolling pin, insert knob, and press your rolling pin back in. They also have a knob for the newer version of the HF 20 ton press. You can also use this same knob on an engine lift. Life’s too short to be fiddling with the jack handle when you simply need to make a quick adjustment or you’re done pressing in your bearings. Easy peasy!

I have the metric set and it worked great for my need on a slightly damaged fastener. Highly recommend them

Nice mod. I'd be ordering that knob if I hadn't sold my 20 ton a few years back.

I added some trim removal tools to my ever growing selection of Snap-On Orange hard handle tools.

I have the one on the right, it's a lifesaver.

It works ok. Nothing like the size specific tapered ones though. Whatever you do, don't try one of those unless your wallet is ready. That's a deep rabbit hole.

I just work on too many different kinds of cars to be able to justify that. But maybe I could get a Saab-sized one...

I grabbed this on Amazon. Wisepick R1234yf Compressor Oil Dye Injector with Snap Quick Coupler R-134a System 1/4" SAE Scale Refillable Line 2 OZ Hand Turn Screw. I repaired two AC units this summer, one in my 88 E-150 and the other my 08 Liberty. This will come in handy at some point.
