I'm looking for a precision screwdriver set and precision torx set for electronics. I'm curious to see who all uses them and what brand you would recommend. It ust have a case to go with it for portability.

I think it's Weha we've got at the lab. Had them long enough that the printing's worn off. They finally got tired of replacing the Pro'skit drivers every month. #0 phillips heads tend to shear off rather quickly when those tiny screws are loctited in.

Matco SDE6C for the secewdrivers & SDET6C for the torx. They both come in their own case.

I wish we had a driver b/c I want to take a look at these...

Wiha or Wera; hands down the best I have ever used! Wera seems to have better grip/ergonomics but Wiha are great as well.... you won't be disappointed with either! The Wera Kraftform Micro in particular have a great handle that helps loosen tight torx screws that have thread lock applied to them, found particularly in notebooks.

I like these. ALOT!

I'm kinda partial to these and I think a lot drivers have them on special right now.

Snap-on miniature driver set with case

I was just about to see if anyone used the Snapon ones. The truck comes tomorrow and I think i'm gonna check them out.

Xcelite and Wiha are the standard for this sort of thing in the electronics service industry, as I understand it.

I've worked in the studios as an Engineer for some time now. Everyone I know including myself has Wiha drivers for our precision drivers. I've always been more than happy with them.

You also should consider ESD (anti-static) precision tools if working with electronics. Ceramic tip screwdrivers are available you need something non-conductive. SD

Cool. I'm looking forward to getting the set (shipped today). The Stanley set I have served me well for years but some of the tips are on their way out. I've been pricing the higher end models for a while now. This is the best price I've seen.

Get Wiha or Wera. I have a bunch of them (PicoFinish):

Don't bother with other companies. Forget about Snap-on. I have used Snap-on screwdrivers (the big ones) and their handles are not rubbery like Wiha/Wera. It is just a piece of molded plastic which is VERY uncomfortable when you try to unscrew a stubborn screw. Get a set of regular & precision screwdrivers (PicoFinish line) from Wiha and you won't be disappointed. I have not used Wera but I've heard good things about them.

Ok cool, the micros I have in regular Wiha but I just got the set you show this week, arranged it in my drawer tonight. Got the T5-T40 set to match. I was wondering if you were talking up the micro finish or if I was missing something. I like the comfort handles so far.
