I’m in Connecticut getting ready to build a post frame garage. The front will be 32 wide with 2 garage doors and a man door. the gable side will be 24ft deep.

Has anyone in Connecticut had one built? Looking for recommendations on builder and approximate labor cost. I know the material cost will very.

I am having the concrete slab poured after the fact so I already have that cost separated out.

Your garage is size wise pretty well a duplicate to mine.
Can’t give you any particulars due to location. But feel free to check mine out for any additional ideas.
Good luck with your build.

I'm in central CT. Started my build in fall of 2018. Was going to do a post frame build as well but the location (sloped) forced me into a full foundation. Originally our house builder quoted $82k for a 28x28 unfinished with attic trusses. Figured at that price he really didn't want to do it. Opted to do some of the work myself (framing, siding, electric). Paid for site work, concrete, setting trusses and roof. Actually the size grew a bit to 28x32. I calculate all in I'll be close to $40k.

So I’ve decided to do full foundation. I have 2 more quotes coming in but I’m at about $15000 which also includes site work for a new 120ft driveway, concrete walkway and patio removal, and 2 new 10ft foundation walls/footings for our addition. Also includes the garage floor.
