Williams Superatchet with thumb turn

Has anybody seen one of these before. It is a B-53 1/2 drive, but has a thumb turn sticking up on top of the standard cross.

I picked up two of them today just for the fact I have never seen the thumb turn on them. Just curious if they are an oddity or special manufacture for somebody.

Linemans ratchet. If its 1/2 is should have an S prefix, not B. I believe S-52LAB.

Yes you are right. I just ran down to get them out of the truck.

Someone explained that to me a couple of weeks ago. According to them the seller does that when they run out of that item. Then when they get it back in they change the price back to normal. They said it was a way of avoiding having to go through the trouble and fees of a new listing. That makes sense. I had always thought someone was trying to hit the lottery.

I’ve never listed anything but I could see that being possible. I was thinking money laundering lol.

Mine must be an older style
The thumb turn is silver and stick straight up out of the center
