Can you buy ICON wrenches in singles? I'm not a mechanic. Just wanted to taste these new wrenches.

I've only seen sets for sale but, you could check harborfreight.com to be sure. To me, a lack of open stock availability will keep the Icon brand from being taken seriously.

I agree. Ignoring online options, I can walk into any Northern Tool and walk out with a single 1/4” drive 4mm socket all the way up to a 3/4” drive 2-1/2” socket. That’s just chrome sockets. They also have single wrenches and impact sockets.
Stores that only sell sets aren’t very serious about covering their customers’ needs.
I'd check eBay.
I don't get why they don't sell individual wrenches, sockets, etc., at least through the website. I definitely agree it's a big limitation, and makes me wonder how they handle warranty - do you have to bring the whole set in and swap it to replace one wrench?

If you click on the warranty link of any of the Icon stuff online it has part numbers with individual prices. I'm not sure if that's so you can call and order replacements or just some bogus numbers someone plugged in. The individual prices work out to be rather expensive comparative to the per piece cost of a set.

No at least not at my 2 Harbor Freight stores they don’t sell anything individually at mine and when they warranty stuff they just bust open a set then the remaining part of the set they put a clearance sticker on. I want to buy a couple also since I have plenty of wrenches as a professional mechanic I need some that I don’t have and can’t buy the individual ones there.

At my Harbor Freight they break open a set and give you the one you need then tape the remaining part of the set back up and put a clearance sticker on it.

I have mixxed thoughts with this kind of thing and didnt look at the pricing. But most serious mechanic types have a set of premium wrenches and then a collection of both more general generic and some spec, offset, dbe, line, crows etc. I like some sets in smaller common sizes,have a small set of snaps but over 3/4 doesnt matter so much and I really use them as problem solvers rather than really daily use. Same for ratchet wrenches, a set is a good thing but dont need every one they ever made and more expensive versions maybe buy as needed.
Every once in a while bight it and buy a single due to loss. Just paid 10$ for a Sears swivel would have a dollar as part of a big set and 3 as part of a standing set maybe? I needed and wanted it, drove there to get it. Didnt want to mess around, might have got SK is I was closer to stock or dealer?

It's a bit of a drive for you, but AutoValue on River St. has SK behind the counter and what they don't have can usually get the next day. Not the cheapest place to get it, however
