I have a 4 post lift (NOT bolted down) and want to install a Race Deck floor, my question is: Did you place the lift posts on top of the Race Deck or leave it on the concrete and tile around the posts?

This will be a 12x12 Race Deck (Diamond Pattern) floor in a 700 SF three car garage with a radiant heated floor.

For a four-post lift I would tile around it.

I have free flow Ra cedeck with two 4 post lifts on top. Never had an issue but I had the lifts put in after the floor was down.

My four post lift in on racedecking with no issues. The company that delivered the lift said that they see that a lot and it does not seem to be a problem.

I agree with the others. If the lift is going to be bolted to the floor, then install it first and tile the RaceDeck around the lift. The finished look is much more pleasing IMHO.

Here are a couple of pictures of my lift not mounted to the floor with Race Deck. I had to make metal plates to level the lift and I used wooden dowels to keep the metal plates and lift together. The lift has never moved and the flooring was cut around the lift/plates.
