Those jack stands are coming up as full price here, unfortunately.

What store location has it for $127? I wonder if I could get a local store to match it?
Mike

I have been to 4 Lowes here for various things here and NONE of them had accurate inventory.....all were over/under what they showed in stock for the items I was shopping for.

I did find one of these job site boxes for $127 locally (all other stores showed 0), they showed one in stock but had two...ahh, Lowes inventory control. I think they really want these gone, I would bet they would match.

Lowes almost always has a holdback of 1 on inventory. Anytime I buy the last available online and they actually fill the order, I'm usually able to go look around and grab the last one.

I'm very tempted to go and ask about the price match, more out of curiosity than need.

I'm not sure what I'd actually do around here with one of these.

I suppose it would be a major upgrade to Rubbermaid bins for outdoor storage of garden hoses. I can't imagine wanting to store tools that would be subject to rusting inside of one (I know they keep rain out, but what about humidity / moisture?

I just had an odd thought about mounting a tongue and axle under one and using it behind a tractor.

What are some other good outdoor uses for a job box? I'm not a contractor, and don't really have space indoors for one.

I use mine in the basement for ammo storage......all ammo in weatherproof cans/bags. But really anything you want to lock up. Unlike the Rigid box I already had, these do not have a rubber seal to keep weather out but I'm sure that could be fixed relatively cheap with weather strip.
Your tractor trailer idea sounds good too.
NICE boxes for $127.....

There are tons of uses. I have my drop cloths stored in my Knack box. I have used it for twenty + years and the mice have yet to find them in there! If I could find some for $127. I would find a use for them....

There are a number of Lenox HVAC hand tools on very cheap clearance, but it is a bit confusing...I observed this same pricing weirdness at two different local stores:

(your local pricing may differ)

Here is a seemingly identical v-notch snip tool with two different item numbers and almost identical model numbers:

Version 1: Model #22211N2 - $32.98

Version 2: Model #22211N2H - $6.59

The strange thing is that there are other examples where *both* versions are on clearance:

Crimp tool v1: Model 22209C5 - $13.18

Crimp tool v2: Model 22209C5H - $4.39

Anyway, my point is you may have to look through different packages of these tools, some with the "H" identifier at the end of the model number, and some without the "H", and they will likely have different pricing.

Here are a few other examples:

Large snips (over 10" long) - $17.98

Zip tie tool - $6.59

Sheet metal folding tool - $2.39

Yep. Two identical items with the same model number except the “H” suffix. I couldn’t spot any other differences.

It's probably similar to what Knipex does. With or without the letter, means that it is has retail packaging. So while you said there was no difference, one of those has a sticker and the other doesn't. At least with the knipex that means one comes in packaging, whereas the other has the UPC directly a fixed and essentially ready to be used. when selling in the thousands, the packaging adds up.

Like I said that is what that is for knipex, but I don't see that sticker adding up as significantly for the Lenox. But you will also notice the Lenox logo is printed much larger on one, which would affect production in some way

2manytools - I think the differences you are seeing is because the two models have different sides showing. They are identical aside from the model number as far as I could tell.

That would make too much sense. nice catch.

Walked the aisles after picking up Irwin order, and didn't see anything of significance at my store. Some plants marked to 50% was the best I found

I have about 8 different clearance items (all are 80 to 90% off) in my cart. They are all available for shipping. Waiting to add more items to reach the $45.00 threshold before I place my order. I know that can change in a heartbeat, but I'm willing to wait as they are not essential.

Gotcha, thanks. I've seen 50% off perennials at HD before, typically very late in the season. I'd love to find a sale on Knockout roses (they grow really well here, and the deer seem to hate them).

They dropped to $127 here too, but there are very, very few in the area. Shipping is over $60!

Well so far, I'm assuming desktop versus mobile makes a huge difference. My consensus right now is shipping is only available on the desktop.
Thanks guys!

I’m on my mobile. Using a browser both allow shipping, using the app I can only get shipping on the light bulbs.
