what are the uses of the two?

You don't have to make general spaces -- you can heat them differently. Also -- within a given space. I always increase the tubing in the area where I'm working

The beam i have under my door I had made. Its 1/4 steel square tube with fingers welded on each side for the concrete to bond to. I did it for 2 main reasons. 1 ill never have issues with the concrete heaving and door not sealing. And 2 I filled it with insulation and I went 2 ft down. I just didn't want heat loss at the door. I know guys say its minimal heat loss .... but why have any? Why heat the outside?

Pretty cool idea. Looking forward to seeing it with concrete in place.

I used the crete heat panels as well. I got them at a steep discount from the manufacturer because of defects...in the end, it was well worth the purchase. I did the tubing install in a few evenings after work.
