Hi Everyone: I just recently purchased some square and hex sockets and assumed they were Frank Mossberg... They have a different stamping on them making me think they are a different manufacturer. Attached is a picture of the stamping to see if anyone can identify it for me...Thanks for your input in advance. It Looks like a C with a W on top of the C, a O on the Centre of the C and an M on the bottom of the C...

I have no idea, but I bet the folks in the Vintage Forum can figure it out. Try sending an active mod like NUTTSGT or Thecobbler a pm and see if they can move it for you.

That’s an old Walden (walden Mfg co.). See Alloy Artifacts section on Walden Worcester pressed steel sockets.

Thanks for identifying it for me!! I did as you suggested and went to Alloy Artifacts.org. It was quite informative.
Thanks Again!

You should post them up over in the vintage forum. Great bunch of people over there. Very, very informative, for the most part. And sometimes something formerly not known about shows up. They would appreciate seeing them.

Definitely post in the vintage forum here

I had a tool with some strange mark that i didn't recognize, literally within 3 minutes or so i had the answer

I have done as requested and put a post in the vintage forum as well. Thanks for identifying the brand as a Walden-Worcester presser steel socket
