That moment when you spot a tool on the Snap-On truck that you wish you would have had last week, and immediately start cursing:

It's a great tool and looks to be made by LANG, it's the LANG 279. Good choice! I wonder how much Snap-On charges over LANGS own label

Might be made by Lang but its not the same. The 600 has larger pad plates, a bit more spread, and nearly double the teeth. They make a small offset version too (BTCP400).

I'm not a fan of them myself and prefer the calk gun style since its faster. The issue with the Lang one is you have to hold a pad down until you've put some pressure on the piston otherwise it just rolls back and forth on the threads.

What timeframe was he there during?

He was a CH53 pilot!! First deployment was right at the beginning, with the IWO JIMA ARG...

attachment.php

He was in fallujah during the second battle... I have a pic of the flag flying at the base, just have to find it!!

I met him thru a Shelby website... I was selling a custom made shifter I had, and a female service member wanted it, so I offered to trade it for a military flag... She got the shifter, and I got nothing...

Matt jumped in after seeing me get ripped off, and sent me both of those flags, some USMC stickers, and a patch... I was floored!! Drove 3500 miles to meet him at a car show!!

Sorry for the thread jack!!

Installing some new SCBA brackets at work and needed either a T27 or T30 driver or bits. Picked up these Master Mechanic drivers at Family Farm and Home for $3/ea.

Reference the post above, I knew FFH had them on clearance as I stopped by another store yesterday looking for a T27, atleast 4" long to work on a Stihl 044.

Not only did I find a T27 Driver, I grabbed a few bits as well for $2 ea. T27 driver $3, 7/16" Ti drill bit $2, 1/2" Cobalt drill bit $2, 10 pack of Dewalt #2 sq drive impact bits $2, Milwaukee hole saw pilot drill bit $2 and pr of Ti 5/64" drill bits $2.

My first stop was Menard's and I bought a of Masterforce Torx drivers, 6 piece set and a dozen cans of Brakleen.

Another pic of some stuff courtesy of the Hot Deals threads.

Glad to see the Master Mechanic stuff still USA made. I used to have a hardware store here that sold it but they switched names and brands and only carry Craftsman now I have a lot of the USA Master Mechanic sockets and drivers they are great.

Received this, by what I've read and heard it's a really good gun for $200. It's from Harbor Freight.

Not gonna lie it is kinda weird and funny that Benchmark Abrasives ripped off the Johnny Chimpo character from Super Troopers as a grinding sticker.

My newest addition is this limey green gem. The more I uses it, the more I likes it.

I stopped at a yard sale and scored a Delta miter saw for $15!

I haven't taken a picture of it yet, but it's similar to this one. Has a dust collector bag and everything.

I used it today for some trim work and to cut up some scraps for the fire pit and it works perfectly!

Home Depot had these vacs on sale for 80 bucks I couldn’t resist especially when I found out that it was still made by Emerson. I try to avoid TTI products when I can. Also found a great deal on the Makita drill it will be great for ice fishing. I sold the gas auger already and some drill bits and a vice grip in found locally for half price.

When I was mounting the LED light on the dump trailer the other day, I came to a conclusion. I have nothing to take the lug nuts off if I have a flat. The old 4 way isn't going to fit nor do I want it bouncing around with the battery, pump and fluid reservoir.

A little searching found these to hopefully never to be needed. If they get stolen, I won't be out much.

HF 1/2" extending ratchet and a set of lug nut sockets from Menards. 20% off and 11% rebate, respectively.

1/4" drive impact and magnetic sockets have been really nice to use. Had them for a few weeks now, and the 10mm pretty much lives on the impact. Ordered a 12mm to add to the collection. I have the full set of shallows, but for whatever reason, SO sells the deeps individually?
