That looks very similar to the older Snap on Torque wrench. Do you like yours?

I’ve only used it to torque the wheels on my 68 Camaro Monday since I just got it that day, which will be primary duty for the tool at the autocross events.’
I specifically bought it because I can leave it on the setting I mostly use, no zeroing every time.
It is replacing a Home Depot Husky, so way better upgrade.
I still have a Husky for in/lbs. but only had to use that for throttle body/carb bolt down at home so far.

Imho, I got the knipex precision set for about 160 give or take, world's better. I've had Lisle, channelock, done with tips, and done with that snappy and others with that design. If you're in auto, KNIPEX 002004SB PRECISION CIRCLIP PLIERS SET

New Astro 78300 flex head ratchet wrench for nano sockets. This is a pretty good first effort for making a low profile socket set with ratchet. What you get is about a 12 inch long 17 mm by 22 mm flex head ratcheting wrench. in the middle of the ratcheting boxed end is groove. in this groove is a thin piece of wire designed to retain the nano sockets, 17 mm for 3/8 drive nanos and 22 mm for your 1/2 drive nanos. The wrench itself is a little on the heavy side. The 22 mm end makes a great handle to hang on to while the 17 mm side is a little small to me. I like the concept of the flex head ratcheting wrench replacing a ratchet for lower profile but, i think i would rather have two separate wrenches. in fact, in fact I really want four wrenches :wtf:
I want two, one in 17 mm & one in 22 mm that are like those single end, flex head ratcheting wrenches sold by Matco & Mountain. They have a ratcheting flex head spline end on a round rubber coated standard length handle.
The next two would be long pattern wrenches again in 17 & 22 mm but, with a flex head ratcheting boxed end on one side and a fixed boxed end on the other end for when you need more umph. The boxed ends would all need the groove for the wire retainers. On further thought, I think I could do with out the 22 mm sizes since I think I would mostly use the 3/8 drive nano sockets. although it's good to have options. The Astro 78300 runs around $50 which seems a little high to me even though i willingly picked one up
My initial impression is that it's a good first effort but, it left me wanting more. :dunno:

Never seen the hose removers or the gasket whole punch set before I have never used those either so that’s cool.

I got a $25 coupon from eBay (had to spend at least $25.01 to use it), and decided to scratch what I (probably) my last Snap On itch - a mid-long 3/8" ratchet. I went with the comfort handle.
QQY2mIo.jpg

The comfort handle is really nice in the hand. This goes along with my chrome F80 and FL80. Nice to have the two shorter lengths as I often work bigger jobs with 2 or 3 of the most common sockets I'll be using already mounted and just switch between them. These two will get put to work soon, probably next weekend (was planning it for this weekend, but decided to replace the alternator 'while I'm in there'...):

Amen my brother, truly the finest circlip pliers, had mine for years, not that exact set, no flex but as a pro I would never go back!

Just picked this up. It has spring clip retention like the Wera.
The included bits are stubby.
Its a reversible 1/4 bit holder and 5/16 hollow magnetic nut driver.

^I've been looking at that Lang rethread kit... I think I'm gonna use my $25 ebay coupon to get one.

I used one of the thread files and one of the coarse dies to chase some threads. I'm happy with the kit so far.

I first learned of power bars on SMA's youtube channel. That crankbolt won't stand a chance!

I have an upcoming crank balancer change that I got it for. It turns out that I'll probably be removing the radiator anyways, so it is probably unnecessary. Oh well, more tools. This one is a "Private Brand Tools" one that I think is the OEM for the Mac and Matco version.

Never seen the hose removers or the gasket whole punch set before I have never used those either so that’s cool.

I ordered those Lang Hose removal tools... I needed them yesterday. I used a screwdriver and gnarled the end bad...

The hose removers looked cool, so I grabbed them. The gasket punches will get used for an axle flange gasket that I need to make where the ball peen hammer method won't work.

My first German amazon purchase. Came a week sooner than tracking said it would. They feel very nice...

Then I pieced together this three-section Beach tool cabinet from different Kijiji sales. Got it for a good price all together and two of the three sections are essentially brand new.

Nice Beach toolboxes! My first rollcab was the same as that one, sold it many years ago, wish I never did.
What brand is the box with the hutch next to it?

Wow they took it back? Most places around here and online aren’t accepting returns right now actually every place in my area isn’t they all have big signs up saying no returns until further notice.

After ordering it in April, I finally got my Grizzly H6333 rolling tool tray. No instructions, which wasn't a big deal, and while a lot of reviews seemed to say it went together only after some fettling and help, mine went together fine. The only glitch was that the base has a rough spot on each corner that's apparently from rubbing in the box. No biggie. I wish the base had a bit more weight - might fix that at some point with an old brake rotor or something.

I slapped a piece of scrap leather on the tray since it's a bit rattly and loud and put it right to work

Picked up a selection of NWS pliers from KC Tool and a sample set from Sonic. The sample set had been back ordered since April, but at the time was on sale for only $30!

That’s awesome seems like a big help considering I don’t have room to set tools in the top of my cart when working because I have tools in the top already lol

For me, the cart gives me proximity of my most-used tools, but the tray lets me have the active tools and as well as parts/bolts/etc at the spot I'm working.

I've got all this (CCV, various hoses, intake boots, filter housing gasket) plus an alternator and power steering reservoir to put in (probably this coming weekend), so anything that speeds the process is good.
HSZXy9X.jpg

What funny is what I was doing here was getting all that out of the way just to see if I could get a part number off the alternator, but was a lot of the same stuff I'll need to remove to start the actual work.
