The ratcheting crimpers must be sent out for calibration, my job says every year. The parts wear and my not apply the same amount of pressure on the wires over time.

This is the greatest crimper I have ever owned and use it all the time at work and home

I personally like this tool. I have had different brands but this works the best for me. Channellock 909
