Came across my old chop saw stand in storage I made about 10 years ago. I used to use this a ton to make nice square cuts, back before I owned a bandsaw.
Just thought I'd share for a few laughs lol

There are other manufacturers that you won't have to pay to have delivered from Canada. Yes, many are out of country. I would love to see the shipping quote from Canada though. For some reason it seems to cost more with our northern neighbors???

Who else will have it for 25 after Tuesday?

That's going to come in super useful someday when you have a case-hardened or thru-hardened shaft that you want to cut off squarely....something a bandsaw blade wouldn't touch but the abrasive wheel will go "meh its a standard day's work..."

I agree. The old 14” abrasive chop saws get such a bad rep now that dry cut saws are affordable and commonplace. BUT I will NEVER part with mine for the above reasons.

Here’s my Makita. Bought new in the early 1980’s and still in use.

ill be snagging that for sure as long as the shipping isnt outrageous

Just checked......it is $7.89 for me. Put it in the cart to check the shipping charges.

Canada post gives these guys and others fabulous rates for mail orders. That would cost me $35 to ship it next door.

I ordered twenty muffler clamps from Wrench Monkey last week, and that was about eight bucks too.

I made this stand for my chop saw out of a leftover stand from something else. I added the telescoping material support arm. It works very well.

Here’s the portable stand I built for my Makita dry cut saw.

tried ordering it for 25 today and there is no way to select shipping to usa

They are $25 at midnight tonight. Shipping is probably more than that if they still ship to the U.S. Did not see one over at HF, which is unusual.

Maybe I could throw one across the river at Port Huron, if you are around there.

Correction.....it is on sale now!

It shows up as $25 but won’t allow shipping outside of Canada.

Shipping weight on the northern tool stand is nearly a pound lighter in shipping weight than the princess auto stand.

So, did everyone get their stand? Mine arrived yesterday, and I am impressed, so far. Have already started with the improvements that seem obvious....more on that later.
