I have some Gedore tools and they’re very nice. Note they’re like 40 years old so no idea what new ones are like.

Those hammers look similar to some Nupla ball peins I have, but with blue fiberglass handles instead of yellow. I see Cripe also has some Gedore dead blows that state made by Nupla, which makes me think the ball peins are probably also made by Nupla.

As to COO? I have one Nupla ball pein that has a stamping on the head indicating it's made in the US, but the others do not. Not sure if that means they just quit stamping USA on the heads or if some portion of the hammer is no longer US made.

Does anyone know of a hammer manufacturer in Austria?

Some Gedore pliers are made in Austria so maybe they made hammers thier at some point, but I think their hammers are mostly made by Habero in Germany.

Stubai produces tools in Austria, although I don’t know whether any of the Gedore tools are made by Stubai.

The Gedore hammers on Cripe though do look like US made ball peen hammers from either Nupla or Martin( which may be the same except brand name).
I also recall that Gedore was selling some tools in the USA a while back, that weren’t their German/Austrian production, but which might have simply been rebranded US or Asian made tools.
I forget were the non-Euro Gedore tools were being sold, but I think the plan may have died quickly.
(just a note, this was not referring to the older Gedore tools made in India, or the Gedore tools from South Africa)

If the hammers are made by Martin, it seems to be a really good price.
