How to reach my high ceiling garage rack.

Hello guys, I'm accessorizing my garage and installed these racks. My ceiling is 14' and the racks hang down to 10'. It's hard to take big and heavy bins up?

I like the smart garage lifts but they don't slide so can I can't hoist bins up and move them to where I need them? I could buy maybe 2 garage lifts and make a long home brew rod but would love to just buy something rather then fab.

I was able to find a crown wav man lift for my garage, was from a Sears that had closed up. Comes in very handy.

How about make the shelves come down to you?
Use winches (electric or manual) and hang the shelves vie cables and have a guide track on the wall

I put the racks that bolt in because they can handle the load better and can handle more than a cable lowering rack. Also I'm going to be having a gym under one rack that needs over 8 feet of clearance and the other side will have cabinets that go 7 feet. So far the Genie lift looks to be the best way to go since it can be stowed.

Install a couple car lifts. You can just stand on a four post, raise it up, and then set the boxes on the frame of it next to you.*

* This comment is in jest. This is a terrible idea. Please don't actually do this, I'm poor and can't afford to be sued.

Update since last time the Genie Lift did the trick! Thanks for the tip Dustball and ideas from others. I bough their tallest model with the ladder. I was able to get everything up on my racks and clear so much floor space. I was also able to use it to pull a pallet with a short block on it and lift my New Age Pro cabinets lockers off the floor to mount on the walls. I have a Reznor 105,000 BTU heater that finally came in and will use the lift to mount the heater way up to almost 14'. I still have more work to do in organizing and refining things. I need a Bendpak Double wide high rise lift, a wall Gym and few more things once I have more $$$ hehe.

Nice, I'll have to consider something similar since I've got some 14' walls coming in... my building is taller than I imagined. What size windows ya got there and how high are they mounted?

Shoot I need to set up email notifications for replies. The size is 3x3',6" and 8',6" off the ground from the bottom of the window. A little light comes in and didn't want direct light on my cars but have very strong LED ufo style lights that I can dim.
