This really cool BOBES stand I got on the curb for free

I just had to share this. never seen anything like it.
As far as I know the stand was for some type of optical machinery.

the side legs are solid 3/4" plate , the bottom is 1/2" plate

The cool part is you can lower and raise it with the big heavy wheel, and then lock it, there is a metal mount you can add something on the top too.

The main thread is about 1.25 inches,
Not sure what I going to use it for yet.. but its awesome!

Wouldn't be bad for a grinder or vise so you can adjust the height based of the part you are working on.

I like how you think. Add some dimple died gussets at the legs , would definitely industrialize it too.

Wow . some great ideas from you guys! rite now I just have a piece of scrap wood mounted to it for spray painting. i can paint something.. lower the table. and tuck it away to dry.
