I've got a 180 sqft mezzanine in my workshop that's about 12' above the main floor. It's easy enough to access with a ladder, but I need to move a lot of storage items into the area and don't have a convenient way to do that. A small 2'x2' or 3'x3' platform that were able to roll against the vertical wall up to the mezz level would be ideal. Unfortunately, I've never designed anything of this nature before and wanted to see if anyone had any interesting ideas they'd be willing to share. Thanks in advance!

Google 'kwickstak'. These have been around a long time, and you should be able to pick one up used, affordably.

A fork truck is the quickest way no to run afoul of elevator regulations.

My uncle installed a "diamond lift" or some such thing at his house the storing snowblowers and **** in the attic area of his detached garage. Hes had it a few year and loves it. Has a winch and some cables. I've never seen it but he loves it.

I can weld. I did manage to find something that is prefabricated though, as well. There's a motorized hoisted platform in either 3'x3' or 3'x6' from Garagesmart. Anyone ever look at something like this?

Find an old fork lift and use the lift assembly and hydraulics to build one. I suggested this to a friend 30+ years ago and he built an elevator for their lake cabin using one.
