Vintage Wrench Lot

So I picked up a bin full of vintage wrenches and some were interesting so I am posting them here in case anyone has any insight. I paid $10 for the lot, but some are actually kind of cool. Let me know if you have more info on them. I just got them and cleaned them up enough to see.

A couple of car wrenches - Ford - Nash - Maxwell (I think)

the mystery logo - looking for any info on this one.

A couple of flat/pressed Mossbergs. This was a first for me and may find places in the lids of some Mossberg socket sets.

some bicycle stuff. Moores makes bike saddles and the others are Sturmey Archer Cone wrenches

I have a few of those Ford wrenches as well. I am not sure if they were specifically made to come with the vehicle back then or if they were a novelty or a dealership tool.

1. Ford is pretty common. Perhaps someone will chime in with the specific application.

2. Nash from a set of 3. They come in 4 or more iterations with different stamping in the die, different stock thicknesses, etc.,.

3. Maxwell from a set of 4.

The Brooks wrench is definitely the bicycle saddle company from England, though I have not seen that particular wrench before. I believe the 333 wrench is for 1970s Shimano bicycle components.

The Ford, Nash, and Maxwell wrenches are from automotive tool kits that came with the car. The Ford is not rare. There were millions of them. It was made by Moore drop forging. The others are much more rare. The Linde is for torch gauges.

The Kent Moore is for a specific application. I’m not sure what, possible Bendix brakes, most likely General Motors.

The Kent-Moore looks like a wrench for adjusting the eccentric anchor pin on Bendix brakes.

Thanks for posting additional close-ups, Duds. As I said on the 2020 GS thread, I would've sprung for twice that just for the "S" wrench (now identified as CEB) with the small and unusual obstruction offset end alone, with the script Herbrand, the Mossbergs, the Nash and Maxwell, the HIX monograph, and the Bonney eccentric brake wrench as bonuses! Nice haul.

Yeah, the brooks one is for the saddle, I think the square end is to adjust the tension of the leather with a nut on the front.

I wish I had one :'(

The Ford wrench is a Model T tool. It's specifically for adjusting transmission bands. The scrawny looking end is required for getting into a tight spot.
