My new Race Deck garage floor!

After many countless hours spent here on this forum (thank you!!) researching my flooring options, I finally decided to pull the trigger and order my Race Deck floor for my garage from Garage Flooring LLC!
Although I do love the look of a nice epoxy floor, the speed and ease of installation and quality of the Race Deck tiles is really what sold me on the product!

My floor is about 18 years old and has seen three vehicle build/rebuilds and was in desperate need of covering up.

I know the landscape fabric isn’t necessary with the Fee Flow style tiles, but I really wanted to make sure I couldn’t see any of my stains through the ribs in the tile. If I had more time I would have liked to paint the floor instead of laying the fabric down but this was a quick solution to covering the stains. Maybe later I’ll pull the tiles back up and coat the floor…

Are these tiles porous? Do they let oil/antifreeze/****** fluid leak down to the slab underneath? How do these stand up to welding slag?

Thanks Dave. Your floor looks great too! Actually your profile pic there inspired me a little too! I really like how the Free Flow looks.

Thanks Brian. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed in the FreeFlow floor. Unless the floor is completely mismatched for it's use. Good luck. CJ Dave.

Free flows have some great advantages. I've had mine for 13 years. I've moved them to 3 homes. Every time I pull them up I'm amazed how much gunk is there.

I shop vac once in a while now just to help.

Also, if you take a blower to them it helps but everything will turn into a dust storm.

Just remember to shop vac or take a section out from time to time and clean the floor.

The last time I did it, I had to get a scraper because it was so solid.

I have the "diamond" solid tiles and I like them, they work well for me. I do mostly woodworking so the solid tiles work better for me. For cleaning I sweep the floor and then I use the shop vac for the areas that are hard to get at with a push broom.

I know this is bring this post back, but is there anyway you can post a picture of the trim? I see you ran the blue and graphite to the door, just wondering your color selection of the trim and how it looks.
