extra long L2 for LB conduit body

I had an electrician stop by today to take a look at "The Great Wire Pull of 2020" and he advised I should get an extra long LB instead of the standard size one I have.

Only problem is I can't seem to find out where to find this mysterious extra long conduit body. All the ones I've seen are the standard 13 1/4" opening.

Anyone have a link to one of these things?

Hmm Yeah seems that they don't make those in PVC. A lot of iron and aluminum ones though.

Just get terminal adapters (threaded male adapters) and you can use the metallic ones.

There is no means to bond a metallic lb in the middle of a pvc conduit run. If he wants to change to metallic conduit on the way through the wall and to the panel, that would be a workaround.

I usually just buy oversized pvc conduit bodies with pvc reducers.

The 3 1/2" and 4" only get me an additional 2" of length so really worth it. Kinda *****. I wonder if they make a long pvc jbox that I could make into an LB essentally

You could buy a 24x24 (or whatever size is available) junction box. One hole in the bottom and on hole out the back.

How would you bond that?

Drill and tap a hole.
Then install a "lay in lug" where wire passes directly through the lug without splice.
