Sorry if this has been asked, but are new models coming out soon? Various places it seems several sizes show unavailable or discontinued. I would like to make a small purchase but I would wait if there are changes coming.

NewAge is in the process of rolling out new items. There are many reasons you haven't seen adds or have had much stock available to purchase. Please fill in your reason here........................ I wouldn't expect regular stock until next year.

First in the bold cabinet line set colors are now flushed out. Besides Gray and Red, Bold will now come in Platinum and Black

New Bold items are a 36" wide wall cabinet, 36" wide tall locker, 42"wide tall locker and a 72" wide shelf cabinet. You'll now be able to purchase the 62" wide project center separately, before you would have to purchase a set that included the 42" wide locker. The project center was packed inside the 42" locker.

And for the Pro series cabinets. Black is the new color to go with Gray, Red and Platinum. Both Bold and Pro cabinets are the same colors and meant to blend in with each other.

New items include a 42" wide tool cabinet, a 42" wide base cabinet and a 42" wide wall cabinet. A 24" wide mobile utility cart is new as is a 72" wide by 24" deep wall mounted shelving cabinet.

Upcoming new sets include this tool and workbench combination.

Like any company new items will come and go based on how they sell. It's all about making money. NewAge is also changing some behind the scene processes to make it easier to process and fulfill orders.

It's all good here!

I hijacked Windsong Valley Garage thread. Here's their story.

My first impressions of these Husky HD cabinets are that they are exceptionally well made and worth every single penny. I'd read many reviews of the NewAge stuff being thinner sheet metal, bent doors being set, and recurring customer service issues. These came fully welded, required zero set-up, and can be continually expanded if I so need or want to. I think to get started in this garage they'll be the perfect storage cabinet system.

Husky makes a fine cabinet. This is from Home Depot description of Huskey model #HTC622020 Heavy Duty 6 piece set; "Rugged 20 gauge steel cabinets come with a Lifetime Warranty" and sells for $2499.99 plus 99.99 for curb side delivery. NewAge ships free of charge to the curb in front of your house.

NewAge makes two styles of cabinets 24 gauge Bold cabinets and 18 gauge Pro cabinets. So Huskey HD is in the middle as far as thickness. I used to get complaints about shipping damage, NewAge has since upgraded it's warehouse and shipping procedures.

A similar set up in Pro sells for $2250. To get the same 2 tool cabinet set would be $2430. Plus free shipping to your home.

Seven piece sets are pretty popular right now. The Platinum model number is 52452 and like the Red model 52252 are both currently out of stock. Today's inventory report shows a back in stock date as "Unavailable". That means they don't know when they will have more available.

Winter hit my house yesterday. Daytime high was 42 degrees.

I've been browsing this forum for years. Finally joined as I am planning to do a garage renovation this fall/winter.

Settled on NewAge Pro cabinets in platinum. Looks like my biggest problem will be availability.

Question: I see the Pro sink cabinet is unavailable right now, and only offered in two colors (black, gray). Do you know if NewAge plans to offer this in platinum in the future?

NewAge no longer offers the red corner cabinet. The Bold series cabinets don't sell as well as the Pro cabinets and red is the least favorite color. You used to be able to purchase a corner set in red to get the corner cabinet. NewAge Bold doesn't have corner sets anymore.

NewAge now offers four cabinet colors across both Bold and Pro lines. That way you can use them together in the same garage space. Black cabinets with Gray doors, Black cabinets with Red doors, White cabinets with Platinum doors, and all Black doors and cabinets that were previous available at Home Depot exclusively.

Looks like the ship arrived, all the sets seem to be back in stock. Everything was sold out a week or two ago.

Sometime sets are out of stock just because of worktops being out of stock. NewAge packs the tall lockers with smaller cabinets, like wall cabinets and base cabinets. Lockers with 2 wall cabinets, LWWB, LWWT, have been out of stock. The split base cabinet isn't packed in lockers, so when those are out of stock, then every set with a split cabinet is out of stock.

Yet more stock comes in and life is good.:beer:

Well hell. I hate to hear that, but I'm being selfish. Still trying to get me a usable garage. Best of luck in your new retirement.

Dittle, enjoy your retirement - your posts here and elsewhere were an invaluable resource in my decision to (finally) purchase a Bold 3.0 set. Glad you'll still be around, and hope you're OK with me posting my garage work in progress below...

This is the new Bold 3.0 8 piece set in white/grey. I opted to wall mount everything to achieve a 38" bench height. Since the rolling tool chest is slightly smaller proportioned and intended to fit just under the workbench with everything sitting on the floor, it would've looked funky had I kept it on rollers and pushed it under the higher bench. Fortunately, the smaller proportions worked out when mounted to the wall, as I was able to keep a 2" lip all the way around for clamping, without losing much width for leg room when I eventually get around to buying a shop stool.

Anyway, the cabinets themselves came well packed, with only a couple slight blemishes (scratch here, slight dent there) that - frankly - I didn't feel warranted requesting replacement. These are garage cabinets after all. The 24ga steel of the Bold cabinets is more than adequate storage for my light duty / general garage storage requirements.

I think my only qualm with the set is that the 18" bench depth feels small, but my 2-car garage is builder standard dimensions and I need to fit 2 SUVs inside - I just didn't have room for the 24" depth Pro, which I'll certainly consider when I build - instead of buy - my next house.

Hope this helps anybody looking, and happy to answer any questions.

Pegboard and accessories are from Wall Control (beige color)
Upper wall shelves are HyLoft units from Lowes ($40! for 90"x15" powder coated steel wire shelves - hard to beat)
Half re-installed slatboard is Craftsman

I am thinking of buying 3 30" bold lockers since it looks like newage is having a sale until tonight. Will I be disappointed with the Bold compared to the pro? I do not do serious work in my garage. Just looking for basic storage. But this stuff is still expensive compared to gladiator, etc so I dont want to be disappointed when it comes. I do have one gladiator RTA cabinet that is OK so as long as it is as nice as that I would be happy.

Also, has anyone bought from garagereserve.com? I saw they were running additional 5% coupon code, but I am worried about customer service if there is a damaged piece. Or would it still come directly from newage?

John,

what is the plan for those who placed orders from you? I placed an order back on October 27th and have heard nothing since. I emailed you and it bounced, and I'm unable to contact you here on this forum because evidently they raised the post limit from 5 to 10. I also clicked on the 'check order' link in the email you sent me and the page won't load.

Looking forward to hearing back from you--

thanks,
Rich

You're my last order. Anyone with questions, returns or damage should contact NewAge with your concerns. They have been great to work with over the years.

Thanks to all those who have purchased from ShopStorageCabinets.

Just my luck. That explains why I could not see your web site.

I have some specific questions I wanted to post, but I guess I'll call the factory.

Good luck in retirement. As a friend of mine likes to say: "Retirement; I highly recommend it!"

If anyone has one of the 15 inch wide cabinets, could you tell me how wide the opening is when the doors are opened?

My guess would be about the same loss as the 36” locker. About 3/4” for each side plus about 1.25” for the door and hinge. So 15” less 2” = 13” without angling anything to get it in. But I have only 36” lockers so maybe my guess is not accurate.

The NewAge cabinets are made in China. Calling the factory isn't the way to go call NewAge Products at (877) 306-8930. They are in Ontario, Canada.

Ordered back in Nov and the NewAge customer service 888-306-8930 guy with the Indian accent says now backordered until April for them to RECEIVE IT??? Wow. He did tell me the warehouse is here in WA state though. Will need to call them and talk to an American (assuming customer service is in a foreign country). The website says estimated delivery date of a new order is March. I am sooooo frustrated right now. :dunno: Covid ..... I know ...... but really???

Yes, when I said LA, I meant Los Angeles, not Louisiana. Sorry if that was not clear.

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] [emoji106]. Got it. Thats the typical route. Sometimes Seattle first. I have shipped hundreds of containers from China for construction projects here and in Hawaii. Spent weeks in factories over there. Sounds like NewAge has a decent QA/QC program. Really never know unless you tour them for the big projects.

Hey looking at getting a couple set for my garage.

Thinking about buying (2) Pro sets that have (3) base/uppper cabinets and (2) lockers in each set.

Plan is to put the (6) base/upper cabinets on the back wall, then use those (4) lockers on a side wall.

I'd like to add (3) lockers to the 3rd wall, however my man door will only allow 18" depth to open fully.

Do the Pro and Bold GRAY colors match? My thought is that I could get a mix of both if they match.

Also, is the Pro really worth double the cost? I'm a homeowner who works on stuff here and there but really just wants my stuff out of sight and put away.

Something like this. Thanks

NewAge packs smaller cabinets inside the tall lockers to save space and make shipping cheaper. Although shipping is free of charge it is part of the overall price.

The bold cabinets are built and painted to match the pro cabinets, so you can use bold and pro cabinets in the same area.

Pro cabinets are larger in every dimension. The steel used in the pro cabinets is twice as thick as the steel used in the bold cabinets. Pro worktops are 24" deep compared to 18"bold worktops.

It comes down to what you want. Do you want life time cabinets or this time cabinets?
