Does anyone still make one? I know I've seen old C'man and S-K but I seem to have lost mine. Current S-K does not appear to have one. Has come in awful handy in a few situations. I mean a screwdriver style spinner handle with a recess for a ratchet or breaker in the back of the handle. Thanks!

Würth has a nice one. Williams has a crude grip. Koken makes one too I think. I haven’t seen it.

SK does offer a 1/4 driver spinner handle with the 1/4 square drive female end on the top of the handle.
https://sktools.com/shop/1-4-drive-spinner-handle-extension.html

Yeah I was gonna say that I've an SK spinner with a female drive at the other end. It's got a green handle, not black. I got it to replace a Craftsman spinner that I found on the windshield wiper cowling a few weeks after the SK one arrived. What I really miss from the SK catalog was that 1/2" breaker bar with a female drive at the other end. Lost that one to the junkyard ages ago.

Unfortunately while trying to figure out how long ago I bought that SK spinner I realized why I don't buy SK anymore. For the price I expect chrome that's not going to flake. Or at least some sort of retail distribution / warranty service. The last time I pinged SK their list of distributors was out of date and they had no idea who actually distributed their stuff. At least with SnapOn I can ambush the truck easily enough (although for that kind of money I expect ****** favors).

Edit: Two years later and the SK web site is still garbage. Try searching for 87759. No results, but it suggests "87759 wrench". Try that. Get a few pages of unrelated results. Go to Zoro.com, search for 87759, first result is that $35 wrench you need to get replaced.

List price on the SK spinner is $30. If you're willing to spend $30 on that you may as well spend $40 on the Snappy.

SO TM9CSA for a longer one.
Wright 2442.
CM 943393.
VIM used to have sets of a short and a long (3/8 and 1/2) and 3 lengths (1/4) locking extensions.

Lots of them on ebay.
Check carefully. I just was shopping for that vary item. Few of them on Ebay had the female receiver in the handle to use as an extension. The Cman looked really chincy.
There was the SK 40953 offered through Zoro for $30 with shipping. That is what I bought (for my Christmas present )

Craftsman makes 2 different ones. One WITH the 1/4" female in the top of the handle (I think it is 43393) and one without !

I picked up one a couple of months ago with a near complete 1/4" SAE and Metric socket (needed a 10mm and a 1/2") set for $25 !

Unfortunately, I did not know the HF extendable 1/4 inch drive handle existed. It does have the female 1/4 inch drive socket on the end of the handle. The telescoping shaft extends from 7-5/8 in. to 12-11/16 inches. Yet another tool that I feel compelled to buy, thanks to the enablers of GJ. I also have an extendable handle 3/8 inch drive ratchet that I have used a few times, so this looks like it could be handy.

Well damn. I wish I'd seen that before I bought my old SO unit.

It's been a life-saver in a couple of spots, most recently while I was trying to blindly install a bolt to secure the power-steering pump bracket on my spawn's car.

A telescoping version would have been even better...

Thanks for the input guys, I guess I was wrong about the SK although if you search for it online they really don't promote that feature (nor are there any pics that show it)

Another one that I found searching was the Wright 2442

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042T27GA/?tag=atomicindus08-20

it appears that since last I looked (maybe 6-7 years ago?) the Craftsman one has either been reintroduced or else someone found a stash of them NOS

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042T27GA/?tag=atomicindus08-20

so I now just have to pick the one that looks most comfortable to use and purchase it

Loads of choices - Snap On, Mac, Stahlwille, KoKen and Nepros all come to mind.

Ones that can also act like an extension with a female on the handle end? We know Snap-On (TM9csa), Williams (M-106A), Craftsman (43393) and SK (40953) makes them.

Can anyone else provide another with a part # that hasn't been mentioned ?? Harder than you think finding one while doing a search.

Haven't seen any made by Germans/Old World or Japanese, not that they don't exist but no joy while doing a search or finding descriptions that describe it. Found none on KC Tools.
I wished Heyco made one with an extension option, they make nice small simple profile handles; like the one on their regular 1/4" spinner.

Here's an old school NOS USA made one by Williams, (2) for $21 shipped, you can give one to your buddy or mistress.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/QTY-2-WILLIAMS-1-4-DRIVE-SPINNER-HANDLE-SOCKET-DRIVER-M-106-USA-NOS/231754859387?epid=1800723889&hash=item35f5aa837b:g:u5AAAOSwFGNWSV0e

This Williams Taiwan version is $12.50 shipped

or at Zoro, new for $10.50 plus ship

Ok, you guys made me look in my old toolbox:
Here's one that hasn't been mentioned:
Husky CM64 USA, yellow plastic "see-through" type handle, 6" long, 1/4 drive socket in the end of the handle (I don't know what year this was made or contract manufacturer name)
There is one that appears to be in good condition on eBay right now for $12.00 plus $4.70 shipping (pics below):
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Spinner-1-...461468?hash=item3fd54be8dc:g:0JwAAOSwPjJeAZuU
The other one listed is cheaper but appears to have a damaged handle.

The Williams M-110 also comes in a NM-110 version as well, I don't know if there is any difference, looks the same to me. eBay is selling them for about $40. Expensive, but no plastic and made in USA.

I went and looked - the one in the middle is labelled Craftsman and the one on the right Northern Tool. And I didn’t even remember I had one of the extendable HF ones until I looked - too much time on GJ.

yes the Craftsman one is the one I've lost.

I remember looking for one maybe 6-7 years ago and not finding one

I'm guessing they must have put it back into production. Now to find a Sears that a) is still open b) has one in stock...

Re: 1/4" socket spinner with recess?

So, this has yet been mentioned:
US made, by Snap On(?), cheaper than most brands mentioned. It's good the check with the "Truck equivalent" thread.

That definitely looks like a Williams/S-O handle. $21+ ship??

Any others from Germany???

Try searching by that stock number on the side. I think mine came in a small 1/4 inch drive set I bought - I lost a ratchet (with a 10mm socket on it, no less) and the set cost the same as a replacement ratchet and socket. (Found them 6 months later lying in a little space under my truck’s battery box).
