Deck it and load it up. GJ will over engineer a wheel.
Just thought I would mention that it is possible that a layer of OSB exists between your drywall and the studs. This was the case with my attached garage. Assuming there is living space on the other side of that wall.
The wall that connects a Garage to a living space is built like an exterior house wall without the siding.
If this is the case it can cause erratic readings on a stud finder. It also means that the drywall screws can be anywhere and do not need to hit studs.
