Found this nifty little booklet when I was cleaning today.
Judging from the coupons, looks like 1997 or maybe late 1996.
If anyone cares to “read” it, I’d be happy to post photos of all the pages.

1996-1997 is "vintage"? Now I am really depressed. I have grandkids older than that.

Well, not THAT vintage, but certainly before Sears became a total dumpster fire.
I bought a lot of stuff there between about 1986 and 2000 or so.

This is when i ante'd up for my first full tool set for auto body class! I think myself and 3 other guys chose the craftsman route, while everyone else doubled their student debt with mac n snap on! Lol. Still have and use almost everything from that set wrenchin on forklifts 24 years later.

I think it’s interesting to view retirement/downsizing/estate auctions nowadays and see how many have Craftsman tools. Given the volume and types of tools, one would have to think most of these guys wrenched for a living. Looks like the Craftsman stuff served them well.

Thanks for sharing. I think a lot of people waited for those booklets to come out.
I for one used to drool over the pages of these pamphlets and the old catalogs. Even as a kid, when the Sears catalog arrived in the mail, I skipped over the toys and went right to the tool section.
