Wondering what everyone's thoughts are on Capri tools bit sockets in Torx, hex etc... Seem to be well made tools and getting decent reviews lately on YouTube... Just wondering everyone's thoughts here, thanks!

Just one of the many high quality Taiwan sourced brands that has surfaced in the last decade. I dont think you can go wrong.

Yes, I think they're good if not better than good. I like their sets on rails. The last thing I need is another blow molded case.
S2 steel bits, nice chrome on the bit holder portion. I have a set of their triple square bits that has served me well.
Watch for a sale, every once in awhile the Capri Tools website will have a bit socket sale. It might a buy one set, get a set free or a decent hunk of change off of a set. Capri has some really nice bit socket sets that won't break the bank.
I think they also offer free conus shipping, rewards points, if you order from their website. I haven't broken any of my Capri tools but, they seem to have a simple warranty system in place online.

yes, I had few pro's rate them quite high, don't own any myself but my shop lad bought some (couple hundred bucks worth with some sale discount after testing a set)
nice readable size stamping and fitment very good, only negative is chamfer bit excessive so you loose some surface drive and some euro junk with shallow fixings ned all the surface drive you can get .
for 2 to 3 bucks a piece it good value as current quality seems s step above what you would expect the usability to be .

I've used them a few times as a DIYer with no issues. Mostly torx and XZN sockets. They seem to be of good quality and fit the fasteners well.

Seems like the same material, machining, possibly same manufacturer as the Powerbuilt bit sockets i have.

I’d buy the same set up from VIM instead. VIM tools won’t be that much more expensive and they have a great reputation amongst mechanics. Plus they offer these sockets in half-cut, shallow, mid, deep, and extra long sets too.

You're going to break bit sockets. Capri lets you do a quick online claim by taking a photo and then they mail you a new one and a prepaid label to drop the broken one back in the mail box. You're out nothing but a bit of time. VIM is essentially disposable as they require you to pay return shipping which is generally the price of the individual socket so you may as well just buy a new one out of pocket.

Both are good brands but Capri wins in customer service.

The tools are pretty decent, better than Gearwrench in my opinion. Very fast shipping and customer service is EXCELLENT. Have not had any problems with the stuff I bought from them.

I've used their hex sockets quite a bit for minor DIY stuff, and they have been awesome. Just got their torx/e-torx set for Christmas. Haven't had to use it, yet, but my bet is it will work just fine. They're a great value for the cash from my experience.

No problems with any of my Capri sockets and bits!

Made in China and Taiwan can be very solid if the company is reputable. Don't be a sucker and assume Made in USA is better every time as it's no longer true.
