have a project that needs a section of quarter panel replaced. I need to for a couple reasons to not weld it. Or very little welding.
I have a flange tool and figured that would work well for bonding. So my questions are, how much should I buy to do a "section" of quarter panel?
slow dry? and brand? I'll need product, applicator and mixing tube. I figured 3M but I'm all ears

Thanks in advance!

The one I bought from 3m needs its own caulk gun with two plungers.
Not sure I’ve seen different sizes. I did a whole rocker panel on my truck and still have half left over.
Read up on applications. They say it’s not supposed to be used on some parts like rockers. Lol.
A flange will work. Use a bunch of self tapping screws to clamp it tight. This is a modern car right?

Might want to do more research. Not sure why but old cars I’ve only seen welded. I welded my chevelle quarters. I Care less about my truck so I will take a chance with the bond due to simplicity

I think it depends on how it is mated. Or where to be more precise. I think there are issues with patch panels ghosting.Which is what I'm doing.
