Required distance between plumbing and electrical pvc conduit?

My garage has a gas water heater next to the washer and dryer.

Can I run electrical pvc conduit close to the water heater and hot/cold copper pipes for the washing machine?

IMO..I would say yes if in PVC conduit.
Really need more info..but a Sparky will be along shortly to give you the real answer.

You need to stay clear of the heater's exhaust. If you're using metal conduit and metal water pipes, those shouldn't touch for corrosion issues. Everything else is fair game.

Here is a pic of the old EMT conduit (it's painted same color as wall). It runs 24" below the heaters exhaust. I would like to replace it in the same position with gray pvc conduit + THHN/THWN.
