Snagged a set of these for $49.97 yesterday when I just happened to notice they were on sale. A buddy has them and they came highly recommended. :rocker:

I bought a set too. These are the last things I need. Bought anyways. Cannot skip a good deal. Cost me$40 before tax. I used coupon and gift card.

I happened to see the 1/2 one in the store without the others.

The head is at least 1/8 to 3/16 thicker than the older 72 tooth model.

$49 at my HD ... Why not! I don't have any 90+ tooth ratchets.

Nice fit and finish. Their action was relatively smooth, engagement positive, back-drag not so light. They are sturdy and not thin, especially the ½” drive. No pro here but I think you're not going to break them.
Access to internals easy as only a large Circlip holds the guts in while also securing a paper-thin steel cover to keep the dirt out. Look out for the ¼”. The dual pawls are tiny and if you’re not careful, they could be hard to find on a shop floor. Guess how I know.
Parts all fit nicely with no slop. The back-drag was no worse than many other newly purchased ratchets I’ve used. I changed out the factory grease with some lighter synthetic grease and now they're much smoother with much less back-drag/stiction. I like them a lot now. They’re the smoothest ratchets I currently have.

I just had some trouble getting the sale price to show up. I think the HD site is stupid slow right now. But it eventually worked and I'll pick-up in store (Zip 91406) tomorrow.

I need 3 more ratchets like I need a third arm pit, but you know how that goes. Just got to try the new piece (tool that is).

I have this set - I bought them earlier last year, I think I paid $60 or $70. I didn't have any ratchets that went over 90, and the price was right. They have only seen limited use so far, but I have no complaints.
