My $150 cart is hand tools so if someone has a 20% off for that I’ll take it. Thanks everyone!

sorry just now checking the forum

Thank you so much. Just saved me $40! Question for everyone. I never get any zoro email coupons anymore. Any tips or tricks to get them again? I am on their mailing list but I just get product spam but no coupons. Thanks

Leave items in your cart. I do that and get coupons frequently.

Has anyone seen a 25% off coupon in the last several months (or even 6-12 months)? It seems like they may have gone extinct.

My zoro orders often take 1-2 months to ship. That's only worth it with a steep discount.

I ordered a generator back in December, was supposed to be March, now the latest email is May. Good thing I am in no hurry, but 20% savings on a $10k gen set is worth it to wait. That will pay for the propane tank.

But I agree, some of the shipping delays **** balls.

Have never bought from Zoro, but this code popped up for today only when I was looking at tools on their site.

PHPN627V5 20% off of $150

I don't remember the last time I saw a 25% coupon and it's been probably at least 5 or maybe even 6 years since there was an elusive 30% coupon which most people may not even know existed at one point in time. Seems like even a catch-all 20% coupon is pretty rare these days and the few there are typically have high minimum spends.

The last time I used a 25% site-wide coupon was last spring and I think that was the last time one was offered. There was a sitewide 30% coupon just after Christmas 2019.

I got into Zoro late spring 2019 and I started with the 10% off for signing up. I’ve never seen anything larger than 20% off.

It’s likely that with more users joining like I did they are now mainstream and so don’t need to put out 25-30% coupons.

Finally got the email trick to work. Logged in, added a Posi Lock 106 to my cart. Never logged out and kept page open, but opened new tab. Couple hours later got an email with 15% off code.

How does this work?

You have to go to your chase credit card offers and if you do have it, just add it. Then it automatically redeems the cashback once you place your order on Zoro with the credit card that you added the offer on.

I placed a $250 and should be getting a $25 credit statement in a couple of days.

Has anyone else noticed that sometimes after you order an item from Zoro that they jack up the price by about 20%? I just checked, and most of the items from my last order had their prices jacked up. In other words, using a coupon on these items now means they are about the same price as anywhere else.

Also, has anyone noticed that their consumables stock is often old/expired? This is a major problem for adhesives, coatings, paints, etc because these items often have an expiry date after which the product fails. They have sent me expired stock quite a few times. This happened again this month with glue (date code 2016) and the bottle was even deteriorating. What's worse is when I've called them to rectify in the past, they give me a hard time like I'm being picky or making it up. The manufacturers of these items specify the shelf life, not me!

Between the pricing games, scarce coupons, and weeks to months-long shipping delays, I'm getting pretty fed up with Zoro. I think I'm about finished with them...

Agreed, the service seems to be declining, unfortunately. I'm also thinking about taking my money elsewhere.

I haven't received anything expired. If that happened, then you may need to be cautious with other vendors as well since stuff is often shipped from a distributor. A lot of stuff is drop shipped. If you order from another seller, it may be drop shipped from the same stock. If it's actually stocked, then it may be different with different sellers. The highest volume seller is going to have the freshest stock. And it would be difficult to find a higher volume seller than Zoro/Grainger. You should post photos of the items so that others are aware of what items are affected.

But this topic has turned into a lot of coupon begging and displays of laziness, entitlement, and a general lack of appreciation for what has and still is a great source of deals for a lot of folks. Recently there were multiple topics in the general discussion forum asking people to hold their hands and walk them through getting coupons. Is it really that difficult to enter an email address on the front page of a website?! Most were probably just fishing for a coupon because they were too impatient to wait or to lazy to look through their emails. It's ridiculous.

Every company changes prices. You are not entitled to getting 20% off the lowest price anywhere on the internet. That's a hell of a deal.

I've shared my codes with people on the forum but if this topic is just going to continue deteriorating, then I'm not going to bother sharing codes or posting deals.

Bessey 82" Parallel Clamp - KRE (K Body REVolution) - $91.89/clamp.

You can find the same clamp for the same price or slightly cheaper elsewhere on the web BUT, pretty much all discount codes apply to Bessey and it would be pretty easy to find a 15% or 20% coupon code that does, bringing the price per clamp down to $78.11 or $73.51 respectively. Not only that, but these ship free from Zoro whereas every other seller charges freight shipping on these (some charge the freight charge per piece!!!). I bought a few of these a month ago and they come strapped to a 7' long pallet.

You cannot/will not beat the price on these, especially after the free shipping.

The KRE3598 (monstrous 98" version) is also in the same boat - https://www.zoro.com/bessey-98-parallel-clamp-3-34-throat-depth-kre3598/i/G4669609/.

For the woodworkers in the group this is a pretty great deal.

These are assembled in the US but the metal bits are made in Germany (rail included). There may be the odd China/Taiwan bit on here like the protective plastic covers, but the important bits are made where it counts.

I had issues recently where the email coupon expired before the date listed. 3/5 11:59PM CT. I go to check out 3/5 at 9:45pm and the coupon code in the email changed to expired. How that happens in an email already sent to you i'm not sure but I sent them a message and haven't heard anything yet.

I had this happen and they were good about getting me a functional code to use. I'm sure if you're not constantly claiming your code's expired that they won't have an issue helping you out.

I did make sure to include the code in my support ticket so that they could verify the code and that it was sent to me.

That is definitely a monster clamp. I need to find better ways to store my 50"s

Does highlight the point though. I always found proto to be a pretty good deal after the coupon as well. Still some good brands to be had even with exclusions. I do miss the glory days of 30% off everything.
