I got a new bench today. My Dad got it from a good friends wife when he passed away when i was in the 3rd grade. It is from the 40's from some type of factory. when my dad moved he gave it to my Grandpa and then it ended up with my uncle. Well he is selling his house so me and my dad went and got it back it was 12'x2'x1/2" but we cut of 4' for my dad to keep so mines 8'x2' but it will work perfect for my garage. it also got this vise mounted on it when my grandpa had it so my uncle said to keep it i think it might be a wilton? i have a big Rock island vise but i may just but that on its own stand and keep this one on the bench

The drawers leaning up against it go on the agle iron slide under the bench

No just use it

That could make for a good debate......jay...why not set up a poll to see what others think.....I personally would want to sand blast it and paint the legs a common color of the time.....

But still....great catch....

I love the "just use it" comment.
That is what work benches are for.
