Derek Weaver W-Pro10 (Certified) Black Label Combo - FINALLY

I ordered this lift in December 2020 while it was on backorder. At the time I asked if prices would be going up in 2021 and CS said no- my impatience saved me $110. I paid $3099 vs new price of $3209. The combo includes the screw-type adapters.

Install is set for next Sat, Feb 20 by AR Automotive Equipment out of Shrewsbury PA. Will update with pics once done.

Congrats! I bought a W-Pro-10 (certified, but not Black label) in March of last year. I did warehouse pickup, and installed myself to save a few bucks, but I love it and have not had a bit of trouble with it. I'm sure that you will have the same experience.

BTW - that black is PRETTY!

And so it begins

Awesome !!

I bought one myself in December and I am anxious to get it into my new shop and setup. I jumped on it because the other one they had I wanted jumped in price $100. I did double check your link and it is still showing $3099. I am looking forward to using it. Let me know how you like it.

I am sure it will be a big upgrade over my $1300 9k two post that I have been using.

Been in contact with them for a few weeks now and I just have to convince myself to spend some money. Still 3099 and the 3209 has been removed because they are out of the screw up lift pads. How long have you guys been waiting for delivery? When i talked to them last they were almost about to put them on backorder again. They said they are keeping up with orders but they are selling out faster then they are coming in.

So far it's been great! Have had it up and down numerous times without issues and the screw-pads are really nice - well worth the $100. I've only had the Firebird on it but should be done in a couple of weeks and next up is some brake work on my 2008 Tacoma.

I have had the W-Pro10 Red Certified Overhead 2 Post Lift installed in my garage for almost 3 years now. Not a single issue! I've been really impressed with the Derek Weaver product.

Can you tell me where the arm stop is at on your lift ?
Also how the hell do you tighten the cable nylon nut that goes on the bottoms of the carriage ?

Thank you !!

I have a Forward I10, but I believe these components are shared.

That arm stop would go inside the right rear arm, but it's of no use to you any more because you installed the post with the bracket for the power unit on the left (wrong) side. You may have done it intentionally (as did I), so now you need to make sure the left FRONT arm is never swung out far enough to contact the power unit when raising the lift. This won't happen with a vehicle on the lift, the arm would have to be almost parallel to the vehicle to hit.
To keep this from accidentally happening, I simply store one of the stack adapters on the front inner anchor bolt. This keeps it from swinging out that far, & once its off the floor the arm is locked.

The bottom cable nuts cannot be accessed while installed, you have to remove the upper nut on the opposite side & thread the cable back up to make any adjustments to the lower nut.

Hope this all makes sense & helps.

That certainly makes sense with the arm stop. Explains why I cannot use it and explains the purpose of it. I did intentionally put the pump side on the driver. Thank you !

My issue with the lower cable nut is not being able to get anything in there to tighten it down. My only thought was to come from the top of the carriage with some long extensions and swivels

No. That won't work because the whole cable will turn too.
The instructions say to run the lower nut up until there is 1/2" sticking out BEFORE you thread the cable thru. If you need to adjust that amount, you have to undo it so you can pull it out. Not as big of a deal as it sounds, because you can leave it in the pulleys.
I adjusted both of mine, because I didn't like how little was sticking out of the top nut.

I get what you are saying now. Had a big DUH moment after reading your reply 5 times. That makes complete sense now and the 20 min it will take to take the cables apart will save me hours of scratching my head trying to figure out how to tighten those bolts. Thank you for the help again!!!
